Solution Overview

The ESI Cloud Panic Button solution combines SIP-enabled panic devices, emergency call routing, and on-site alerting to create a unified response platform for schools. Built on ESI’s eCloud PBX™ VoIP solution, the system supports a variety of alerting options, including the compact ESI Access™ AC10v device and programmed emergency call buttons on ESI ePhone™ devices, which provides schools flexible, location-specific options for initiating an alert.

When a panic button is pressed, the ESI eCloud PBX™ solution can simultaneously trigger:

1. On-Site Audio & Visual Alerts

   • Multicast paging systems, IP strobe lights, horn speakers, and ESI desktop phones can broadcast emergency tones and all-clear notifications across campus. This ensures staff and students are informed instantly — even in loud or outdoor environments.

2. Real-Time Call Notifications to Safety Teams

   • Designated administrators, School Resource Officers (SROs), or other emergency teams can automatically receive an audio or video call as soon as an alert is triggered, giving them immediate situational awareness. Supported ESI devices provide real-time H.264 video, where enabled.
